Ortkand waterfall; A hidden paradise around Kalat Naderi

The first waterfall is located in the cave. The existence of a waterfall in the heart of the mountain is considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena. To reach the second waterfall, you have to cross some slimy and wet rocks. If you are not skilled in rock climbing, you will not be able to visit the second waterfall. Fortunately, there are some thick tree roots around to help you climb up.

The second waterfall is higher than the first waterfall and is totally worth your efforts. The height of this waterfall is about 35 meters. This waterfall is located at the end of a valley and you will enjoy a great view. Fortunately, the existence of a special path for roll punch and chimney located next to the waterfall will help you to climb to the top of the waterfall. We promise you that you will be surprised to see the view from the top of the waterfall.
The path to the top of the waterfall is more difficult and it is only suitable for professional and experienced people.

The cave was formed over millions of years through the erosion of limestone rock by underground water streams. The result is a vast network of underground chambers, corridors, and passages stretching over 11 kilometers in length. The cave is also home to a large subterranean river that flows through its depths, creating stunning cascades and pools along the way.

One of the most fascinating aspects of Ali Sadr Cave is its sheer size and scale. The main chamber of the cave is a massive 40 meters high and 100 meters wide, making it one of the largest cave chambers in the world. The cave’s intricate network of tunnels and passages can be explored on foot or by boat, allowing visitors to marvel at the natural beauty of its stalactites, stalagmites, and other rock formations.

The cave is also home to a diverse array of wildlife, including bats, salamanders, and a variety of insects. The subterranean river that flows through the cave supports a unique ecosystem of aquatic plants and animals, adding to the cave’s ecological significance.

Visitors to Ali Sadr Cave can take guided tours of the cave, led by knowledgeable guides who provide information about the cave’s history, geology, and wildlife. The tours typically last around 90 minutes and cover a significant portion of the cave’s network of passages and chambers.

In addition to its natural beauty, Ali Sadr Cave also holds historical significance. Archaeological evidence suggests that the cave was used by ancient humans as a shelter and refuge, with artifacts dating back thousands of years found within its depths.

Today, Ali Sadr Cave is a popular tourist attraction in Iran, drawing visitors from around the world to marvel at its stunning natural beauty and explore its vast underground world. The cave’s unique geological features, rich biodiversity, and historical significance make it a must-see destination for anyone with an interest in the natural world.
